Application - Used in semiconductor manufacturing, thick & thin film manufacturing, plating, compact disc manufacturing, glass cleaning, and wherever chemical etching and cleaning processes are required.
Construction -
Our fume hoods are fabricated from white stress-relieved polypropylene and have all welded seams. All welds are electronically tested for leaks, insuring high quality in workmanship and reliability in the field. Descon fume hoods are still in use after 20 years of service.
Fume Exhaust - Our fume hoods have rear-adjustable exhaust louvers which insure high flexibility in directing exhaust where it is most needed.
Lower Storage -
The WPS can be built with a lower exhausted cabinet section, or you can use cart design for bottles and accessories.
Optional Features -
modular design, bottle carts, sinks, process tanks, goosenecks, spray guns and many others
Lighting -
Descon’s fume hoods incorporate fluorescent lights mounted in a fume tight overhead compartment sealed from any corrosive vapors.
FLAME RETARDANT POLYPROPYLENE IS AVAILABLE.

Design - Descon Offers Two Styles of Fume Hoods: 1) Controls on Top With Hinged Safety Shield, or Clear Flexible Vinyl Safety Shield. 2) Controls on Front Panel with Counterbalanced Sliding Safety Shield and Sloped Front.

TABLETOP FUME HOODS -
(A low cost solution for removing harmful vapors), Fabricated from stress-relieved white polypropylene, all welded construction.
Optional Features - Rear Exhaust Plenum, Safety Shields, Work Surface (Permanent Bottom), Shelves & Lighting.
